CapCut templates for the trend are also circulating on TikTok; they're free, but they work by editing footage rather than generating a person or pet from a photo, and we didn't test them.
Which tools work with a dog or a cat?
MakeTrend AI has a dedicated pet version: your pet charges down the hall, flies at the door with a close-up, and ends up flat on the floor. A second photo can be your other pet, holding the door. MakeViral has a Pet option that takes one photo of a dog or cat, which runs on all fours, squeezes through the closing door and skids across the floor. Kavel's and Media.io's pages don't mention pets.
A note on kids
Most viral clips of this prank star children, and one of these tools markets its page around a photo of your kid. MakeViral and Media.io ask for adults, and so do we: MakeTrend AI's people version is for adults who agreed to it. If you want the family in on the joke, the pet version is the easy answer.
