If your feed has shown you a corgi singing Bohemian Rhapsody eyes closed at a grand piano on a stadium stage, you've seen "Corgi the Queen". Here's what it is, what it recreates, why it works and how to make your own pet's version.
The clip
The original runs about 29 seconds, square, with soft dissolves between shots like a concert broadcast:
- The stadium. It fades in from a crowd shot to the stage: a corgi behind a black grand piano, a row of plastic cups on the lid, a mic on a boom stand.
- The ballad. The corgi sings eyes closed, glances down at the keys, and the camera slowly pushes in to a big close-up.
- The look. It opens its eyes and stares into the lens, wet-eyed and dead serious.
- The piano. The last shots show it from the side, front paws on the keys, still singing.
It's an AI video, not a real dog performing. The sound is the live recording of Bohemian Rhapsody from Queen's Live Aid set at Wembley Stadium on 13 July 1985, and the stage, the piano and the cups on its lid nod to that performance.
The joke
Commitment. Bohemian Rhapsody is one of the most dramatic songs in rock, and the corgi sings it like a stadium is hanging on every note: eyes shut, chin up, completely lost in it. The caption, "Corgi the Queen", does the rest.
How it spread
- 1 November 2026: a Brazilian corgi's Instagram account posts the clip with Portuguese tags (#cachorro #feliz). It passes 59,000 likes and 570 comments.
- Since then: it's still mostly that one post. Pet versions with other breeds are only just starting, so posting yours now puts you early.
How to make your own
Teaching a dog to sing at a piano is out, but a photo is enough:
- Open the Dog Bohemian Rhapsody AI template and add one photo of your pet.
- Generate. Premium gives you the whole ~28 seconds, from the stage to the side view at the keys (Balanced: the first 15), square 1:1, with the clip's sound.
- Post it.
Your pet's breed, face, ears and fur come from your photo; the moves and the camera follow the original. The step-by-step guide is in How to make the Dog Bohemian Rhapsody AI video.
